Description

The BMW M Performance Power and Sound Kit offers an optimum power increase (265 kW) for the standard engine in the 340i/440i and 340i/440i xDrive. The new performance-optimized engine data in conjunction with the optimally tuned flap silencer system turn the 340i/440i and 340i/440i xDrive into an uncompromising, audible and tangible sports experience. -Improved acceleration, impressive torque and faster response are the improvements immediately noticeable to the driver after installation. The acceleration values (from 0 to 100 km/h) improve by 0.2 seconds. Fascinating performance, sporty and dynamic set-up. With the flap silencer system, it is even possible to increase performance to 265 kW/500 Nm. An increase that generates enthusiasm and impresses with outstanding driving performance. -The great pulling power, even at high speeds, still allows strong acceleration and thus ensures a sporty and very agile driving experience. -Higher torque curve: Maximum 500 Nm at 1520-4800 rpm -Higher power curve: Maximum 265 kW at 5500 rpm For vehicles with manual transmission, only a torque of 480 Nm can be realized for component protection reasons. -Same consumption despite higher power: The fuel consumption and emission values in the ECE driving cycle correspond to the standard engine despite significantly higher power. -Performance at a glance: The sports display in the iDrive Monitor is adapted to the higher power and torque. A clear competitive advantage for BMW. -The Power and Sound Kit provides the right engine and exhaust system sound, intensifying the sporty BMW sound characteristics. -Sounds like performance: The driving experience switch can be used to select several modes that influence the performance of the exhaust system: -Sport and Sport+ mode: extremely emotional sound, very sporty, very loud, maximum performance. -Comfort and Eco-Pro mode: Sporty sound, significantly sportier and more emotional than standard, but with residual comfort for uncompromising everyday use. -The silencer system was developed using the latest CAD and FEM technology. This ensures optimum fitting accuracy and manufacturer quality. -Easy installation: The silencer system can be installed simply by screwing it into place. Welding is not necessary -The M Performance silencer system gives the rear of the vehicle a striking and individual look. -High-quality alternative: You can choose between chrome and carbon tailpipe trims to make the vehicle even more individual. Technical information: -The conversion and data programming can only be carried out by the BMW partner. -Installation is carried out in accordance with the installation instructions. -All legal requirements are fulfilled. -For registration and warranty reasons, the BMW M Performance Power and Sound Kit can only be installed as a complete kit. Components from the Power and Sound Kit may not be installed individually. -The vehicle's performance increase must be reported to the vehicle insurance company. -The delivery includes the new software version. If the potential of the M Performance Power and Sound Kit is fully exploited, the standard brake system can be subjected to a higher thermal load. We therefore recommend installing the thermally more powerful and larger M Performance brake system if you have a particularly sporty driving style.
