M Performance steering wheel Pro

Description

The M Performance steering wheel is based on the M sports steering wheel of the M2. It is covered with high-quality Alcantara and stitched with the three-color seam in the BMW M colors. The steering wheel cover is finished with open-pore carbon, perfectly matching the standard interior trims. The new high-quality M Performance lettering in carbon is embedded in this cover. A functional display with the latest OLED technology and two-color LED indicators to the right and left of the display are integrated into the upper steering wheel rim. For operation, two buttons are embedded under the Alcantara in the area of the thumb rests. The EfficientDynamics Mode, Sport Mode and Race Mode can be set at the touch of a button. -Better feel and grip: Alcantara is the perfect material for sports steering wheels, providing optimum grip on the steering wheel in extreme driving situations and offering a consistently pleasant feel in all temperature conditions. -The sporty yet elegant design perfectly matches the standard interior of the M2. -Everything at a glance: Thanks to the racing display, the driver always has the displays and controls in view or within easy reach while driving and can navigate easily through the three modes. -The gear change indicator with colored LEDs on the right and left of the display conveys a real motorsport feeling in everyday life. -Easy operation: The icon-based MMI (Man - Machine - Interface) shows the individual functions of the modes as icons in the display. Sporty but efficient: The additional EfficientDynamics features support a consumption-optimized driving style at the touch of a button. -The optional measurement trigger allows the lap or section times to be recorded automatically using an infrared light barrier. High quality: The scratch-resistant, high-quality display cover made of PC cover glass promises a long service life. Functionality: -To operate the racing display, two buttons are embedded in the area of the thumb rests under the Alcantara. The electronics integrated in a plastic shell in the upper steering wheel rim access the vehicle's CAN (data bus) via a separate control unit. -The detailed setting options for the display and a description of the features can be found in the operating instructions. Technical information: -The steering wheel can generally be installed in all M2 vehicles. -When installed with steering wheel heating, the heating function is omitted. The switch for the steering wheel heating remains without function.
