The M Performance Starter Kit Interior offers a cost-effective entry into the world of M Performance for vehicles with basic equipment. The exclusive package consists of: Alcantara steering wheel, M Performance gear knob with Alcantara padding, Alcantara padding with silver-white cross-stitching for the handbrake lever bellows as well as stainless steel pedal pads and stainless steel footrest. -The interior starter kit offers a sporty upgrade of the interior at a very attractive price for vehicles without lines or without a sports or M sports steering wheel (SA255/SA710). Perfect feel: Alcantara steering wheel with Alcantara cover based on the leather steering wheel (SA240) with slightly thicker cross-section diameter (approx. 2 mm) and silver-white contrast stitching. -Due to the slightly thicker lamination compared to the standard leather steering wheel, the rim of the Alcantara steering wheel is slightly thicker and therefore softer to the touch. -Alcantara is the perfect material for sports steering wheels. The improved grip and pleasant feel provides optimum grip on the steering wheel in extreme driving situations and offers a consistently pleasant feel in all temperature conditions. -The M Performance gear knob with Alcantara bellows impresses with its sporty elegance: the surfaces of the gear knob are made of Alcantara and pearlescent chrome with M Performance lettering in the shift pattern. The handbrake handle has a sporty, ergonomic design and is enhanced by the matching Alcantara bellows with silver-white cross-stitching. The high-quality stainless steel pedal pads and the stainless steel footrest further enhance the footwell. Technical data: -The starter kit is suitable for all vehicles without sports steering wheel (SA255) or without M leather steering wheel (SA710) as well as for vehicles without automatic transmission (SA205) or sports automatic transmission (SA2TB). -The add-on parts for the steering wheel (airbag, MFT, electronics) can be taken from the basic standard steering wheel or leather steering wheel (SA240). -When replacing the airbag unit, decoding is not necessary. If installed with SA248 (steering wheel heating), the heating function is omitted, decoding is not necessary. The switch for the steering wheel heating remains without function.
