The perforated inner pipes display a maximum of high-tech, sportiness and emphasize the individual character traits of the BMW M. The optimized exhaust routing with reduced back pressure enhances the characterful V8 Twin Turbo sound and underlines the sporty driving experience. The silencer system was developed using the latest CAD and FEM technology and is a cooperation project between BMW and Akrapovic. This ensures optimum fitting accuracy and manufacturer quality. The silencer system can be installed simply by screwing it into place, welding is not necessary. Lightweight: The titanium silencer system is 28% (10 kg) lighter than the standard component.
