M Performance Lightweight Sports Brake Disc 18"

Description

In the M135i and M235i vehicles with standard brake system, the BMW lightweight sports brake discs can be installed on the front and rear axles without additional measures. In 335i and 335d as well as 435i and 435d vehicles with standard brakes, the BMW lightweight sports brake discs can be installed on the front axle without additional measures. On vehicles with 17" or 18" BMW M sports brakes (optional equipment ex-works), the perforated and grooved BMW lightweight sports brake discs can be installed on the front and rear axles without any additional measures. In the case of an accessory retrofit of the M Performance sports brake, the perforated and grooved BMW lightweight sports brake discs are already part of the respective retrofit kits. An entry in the vehicle documents is not required, as the brake system does not change in the registration-relevant data. -Reduction of the formation of a water film between brake pad and brake disc by countersinks and grooves. -Low weight, thus low unsprung masses. -Attractive appearance. -Enhances sportiness, especially on alloy wheels with open wheel design. -The lightweight sports brake discs are suitable for individualizing the vehicle, as they cannot be configured as optional equipment ex works. It is recommended to also install new brake pads when installing the BMW lightweight sports brake discs. The BMW lightweight sports brake disc is, like the respective standard brake disc, only approved in conjunction with at least 17" or 18" aluminum wheels (also in winter)!
