Description
With a distinctive sound when shifting through the gears, coupled with improved power and torque, all integrated into a full titanium system, the Slip-On Line titanium exhaust system delivers the true Akrapovic experience while meeting ECE type approval. Made from lightweight, high-quality titanium alloys and finished with two sets of carbon/ or titanium tailpipes, the system features complex parts manufactured in Akrapovic's in-house titanium foundry, including the valve bodies and the collector between the center muffler and the tailpipes. Two valves - one on each side of the muffler - adjust the gas flow to create the distinctive Akrapovic sound, which is quite different from that of the M8 with a stock system. The sound of the exhaust system is most noticeable during gear changes and acceleration. With the optional Akrapovic Sound Kit, this can be further controlled and the listening pleasure enhanced.
