Evolution Line

Description

The Evolution system for the BMW M3 consists of dual outlet mufflers, flow-optimized link pipes and an X-pipe with 100-cpsi high-flow sports catalytic converters and resonators. The power and torque improvement of the BMW M3 with the Evolution system is astounding. Significant power gain over a very wide rpm range and improved responsiveness in all phases of driving. With the incredible weight savings, the Evolution system provides a completely different power to mass ratio. Akrapovic's goal was to develop a system that lets you hear a deep, rich growl at cruising speeds, but also allows you, the rider, to enjoy the aggressive roar at high speeds. Add the finishing touches with a set of two exquisite titanium or carbon tailpipes. ECU remapping is mandatory when installing optional Akrapovic aftermarket downpipes with sport catalytic converter for closed-course use only. When installing Akrapovic aftermarket downpipes designed for closed track use, we recommend ECU remapping to prevent the possible engine warning light from coming on. The titanium or carbon tailpipe set is required to install the Evolution system. This is not included in the scope of delivery. The system is suitable for vehicles with year of manufacture 2007 - 2013.
