Retrofitting hybrid interior mirrors

Description

The BMW hybrid interior mirror is an innovative accessory that has been specially developed for vehicles with a panoramic display (included in the SA options 6FR or 6FH). The new mirror is a hybrid solution for the indirect field of vision. It combines a conventional interior mirror with a digital system that transmits a high-resolution image to the rear-view mirror via an integrated camera in the rear window. This significantly improves the driver's view to the rear, especially when the panoramic display is folded down in Theatre Mode. Only in conjunction with cable ties (L=200mm/W=3.6mm) and coaxial cable hybrid interior mirror. These are not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately if required. Safety: The expansion of the field of vision by up to 300% offers significantly better all-round visibility and reduces blind spots. Our customers also benefit from improved visibility at night and in difficult weather conditions. -Aesthetics: The system offers an appealing look that perfectly matches the luxurious ambience of the BMW 7 Series. -Convenience: The hybrid interior mirror is always fully equipped with a garage door opener, an alarm system and an automatic dimming function. A central switch makes it easy to switch between the classic and digital mirror image. -Installation: The interior mirror is homologated and requires no additional registration. -Compatibility: The system can of course also be installed in vehicles without the above-mentioned special equipment codes.
