With the BMW & MINI charging cable for public charging stations, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) can be charged quickly and reliably at public charging stations. By transmitting the high charging currents, the plug-in hybrid can be charged up to three times faster than with the standard charging cable. The MINI charging cable is ideally packaged for transport thanks to the spiral design and the perfectly fitting cable bag. The enclosed gloves allow clean handling, even in rain and slush. The design of the MINI charging cable is perfectly matched to the design of the vehicle and thus contributes to the overall appearance of MINI Electric. The charging cable is equipped with coding, which enables the charging station and vehicle to determine the maximum permissible current. The optimum charging power is achieved without overloading the charging cable. The ergonomically shaped plugs are robust and comfortable to hold. The adaptation to the charging connections of MINI vehicles facilitates daily handling. Please note: The charging cable can be used in all countries that support the type 2 standard for plugs.
