Ideal for trips with children. The BMW Group offers the combination of backrest protection and child seat carpet pad as a set to protect the car seats. The backrest protector is attached to the back of the front seat to protect it from soiling. You can choose between two colors by turning the protector, gray or plain black. Thanks to its lightweight material, the backrest protector is not bulky and can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth. The child seat base is placed under the child seat to protect the rear seat from pressure points. Extra foam padding on the sides of the carpet pad ensures reliable protection. For forward-facing child seats, an extension of the carpet pad up to the child's feet provides additional protection against soiling of the front of the seat. With rear-facing child seats, the backrest of the rear seat bench is protected by the child seat base extending up to the seat backrests. You can choose between the two colors grey with black or grey only by turning the carpet pad. The backrest protector and the child seat base are each attached to the headrest via a plug-in connection. The backrest protector also has two fastening hooks that are hooked under the seat. The combination of both fastening options means that the backrest protector adapts perfectly to the car seat. With the elegant design made of robust polyester fabric, both the child seat base and the backrest protector perfectly match the high-quality BMW and MINI interior.
