Description
For the ultimate result in terms of weight reduction, tuning potential and aggressive racing sound, Akrapovic offers optional stainless steel down pipes without catalytic converters. Combined with the Evolution Performance exhaust, this is virtually the same setup as the 1M MotoGP Safety Car. The high-flow downpipes require ECU reprogramming to achieve maximum performance and to eliminate the engine warning light firing. They are made exclusively for track cars and hardcore enthusiasts. The stainless steel high-flow downpipes offer further tuning options. ECU remapping is mandatory when installing optional Akrapovic aftermarket downpipes with a sports catalytic converter, which are intended for use on closed circuits only. When installing an Akrapovic aftermarket exhaust system designed for use on closed tracks, we recommend ECU remapping to prevent the engine warning light from starting. The downpipe is suitable for vehicles built between 2011 and 2012.
