The BMW luggage compartment light LED is the first light specially developed for the luggage compartment of BMW saloons and generates 5 times more illuminance than the standard lighting. The optimized light control optics guarantee the best possible illumination of the luggage compartment. This means that it is sufficiently illuminated even in poorly lit garages or parking garages without an additional light source. State-of-the-art LED technology combined with optimized light control optics guarantees significantly improved light distribution in the luggage compartment. -Easy installation: The light can be installed independently in a maximum of five minutes. -The light has been specially developed for all BMW saloons, but is also suitable for use in touring and X vehicles. Harmonious shape, high-quality materials and optimized functionality: The combination of white plastic, crystal-clear lens and brushed aluminium is of a very high quality and fits perfectly with every BMW. The backlit BMW LED lettering is an additional eye-catcher. Functionality: -The light from the three high-performance LEDs is distributed evenly into all corners and surfaces of the luggage compartment by three special optics. In contrast to an opal lens, the light is thus optimally directed. -An average illuminance of Em=100 lux is achieved on the floor of the luggage compartment (standard light Em=20 lux). -The color temperature (Tf) is 5700 K, light color: daylight white. While the standard light with Tf = 2700 K has a warm white light color. Important installation note: The product must be installed so that the lettering faces the rear of the tailgate and the BMW LED lettering can be read.
